Early Crash Closes I-44 West in Eureka, Missouri

At approximately 5:00 a.m., on September 27, 2012, dense fog led to a fatal crash which occurred on I-44 West near Six Flags, in Eureka, Missouri. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a vehicle became disabled in the middle of westbound Interstate 44, when a tractor-trailer driver suddenly noticed the vehicle and swerved.
