Hill-Hopping Car Accident Leaves 2 Dead and 3 Injured
According to Carthage, Illinois Police, a car full of five teenagers crashed and rolled several times during a hill-hopping incident. Driver, Kathlina Reining, 18, and passenger Gavin Roskamp, 16, were prounounced dead at the scene ot around 7:30 p.m. Monday evening. Similarly, Kaitlyn Long, 17, suffered serious injuries while Kaylee Meghghly, 15, and Cory Kendall, 17, suffered minor injuries. Reining was jumping her Chevrolet Cobalt while driving on hillcrests near Hancock County Road.
