Leavenworth, Missouri Teenager Killed in Crash

According to the Highway Patrol, a 16-year-old girl from Leavenworth County was killed in a car crash that took place Thursday on U.S. 24.  The young teen was driving westbound in a GMC Envoy Tuesday afternoon when her vehicle went out of control and flipped into a ditch.  The teen was supposedly following another vehicle that was carrying several other teens.  The 14-year-old who was also in the GMC Envoy was taken to the hospital but her injuries were not released. Prayers go out to the family and friends of all those involved in this horrific accident.
